Vogue Arabia commissioned us to create two distinct editorial collage series for their print and digital platforms. The first was a handcrafted analogue series for a feature on global jewellery houses collaborating with artisans and craftspeople. The tactile nature of the collages echoed the intricate detail and cultural heritage of the pieces showcased. The second series addressed censorship in communication—a layered, symbolic exploration of how state-imposed silences affect freedom of speech. Here, digital collage became a vehicle for subversion, using fragmented imagery and hidden metaphors to reflect on restricted expression in contemporary society.
